Who we are. Apostle of Doom (apostleofdoom.org) is operated by Mohd Elfie Nieshaem Juferi, under the Langgam Fikir name in Selangor, Malaysia (“we”, “us”). We handle personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), as amended.
What we collect
We collect as little as the site needs to run:
- Server logs. Our host records IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and time of visit. We use these only for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults, and keep them for [30/90] days.
- Search queries. Terms you type into the site search are processed to return results. We do not tie them to your identity.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your name, address and message to reply and to keep a record of the correspondence.
- Analytics. We use Google Site Kit to count visits and see which pages are read. It collects anonymised or aggregated data such as device type, approximate location and pages viewed.
We do not run advertising, sell personal data, or build profiles of visitors.
Cookies
Public pages set no tracking cookies. WordPress sets functional cookies only for logged-in administrators. [If analytics is used: [service] sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors; you can block them in your browser without losing access to any content.]
Third parties
Some pages load content from outside services, which may receive your IP address when you view them. These include the AI Visibility badge in the footer [and fonts, embeds or analytics as applicable].
Buying the book takes you to Langgam Fikir (langgamfikir.my). Orders, payments and delivery are handled entirely by the publisher under its own privacy policy.
Security
We keep the site software current and run malware and access protection. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify affected people and the authorities of a breach as the law requires.
Where data is held
Our hosting provider may store data outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we rely on providers with protections comparable to the PDPA.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent to its use, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing reason to keep it. Visitors in the EU or UK have equivalent rights under the GDPR. Write to Langgam Fikir; we will respond within 21 days.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date.
