Reporting infringement on this site

If you believe material on apostleofdoom.org infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The URL of the material and a description precise enough for us to locate it.
  4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Before you file: fair use

This site quotes scripture, scholarship and historical sources to criticise and review them. Short quotation for that purpose is generally permitted under US fair use and Malaysian fair dealing. Please consider this before sending a notice; knowingly false claims can create liability (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).

What happens next

On receiving a complete notice, we will review it promptly and remove or disable access to the material where appropriate, and tell the person who supplied it where one exists.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and to accept service from the original complainant.

We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the complainant tells us it has started court proceedings.

Repeat infringement

We will remove contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright.

When our work is copied elsewhere

The articles and English translation on this site are protected. If you find them republished without permission, please tell us.
