This site opened on 30 July 2023. Its first page described a book in progress: an English work to be published here chapter by chapter as it was written.1 The work began as a manuscript in Malay, intended for print.2 The English book was to be its translation, with chapters added.
As the writing went on, I judged that the book would be better finished in the open, with the help of social media and of readers who wished to take part. So its chapters went online, to be read free as each was ready. A small charge was planned for a PDF of the whole, to sustain the work; that plan waited until the book reached the form I intended for it.
The purpose was stated then as it stands now: to spread the teaching of Islam and uphold its principles, in the spirit of the maxim الكُفْرُ مِلَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ (al-kufr millatun wāḥidah), “unbelief, in whatever form, is one creed”.
The preface and the first chapter appeared that day, and a page about the author followed on 20 August 2023. The two texts are kept, in the wording in which they first appeared, in The 2023 edition, among the appendices; the page about the author has become About the Author.
The English serial did not run beyond its first chapter. The Malay book was finished instead, and Langgam Fikir published it in August 2025, with a second printing in October 2025.3 This site now sets out the case that book makes, drawn from it section by section: the book gives its details.
